Facilities provided by AJK government:
- Subsistence allowance Rs.23 per day for head of family
- Subsistence allownace Rs.20 per day for other members of family
- One-off grant Rs.600 per member of family up to a maximum of Rs.2000
- Burial expenses Rs.1000
- Tent accomodation for family
- Supply of electricity, water and toilet facilities
- Medical treatment
- Exemption of all dues
- Books and education for all refugee students
- Scholarship Rs.100 per month for students of 6-10th class and those memorising the Holy Quran
- Scholarship Rs.150 per month for all college and university students
- Assistance or help from local NGOs
